👨🏫 Speaker’s profile:
Tay Kit Hoo (Kit) read law at University of Bristol and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2017. He is the Head of the Matrimonial Dispute Resolution Department at Messrs Low & Partners, a leading law firm founded in 2009 with more than 10 branches nationwide including Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Klang, Cheras, Johor, Penang, Ipoh, Seremban. Low & Partners has been nominated as the top finalist for multiple Law Awards in Malaysia and South East Asia.
His practice focuses on matrimonial matters and proceedings involving children. He frequently deals with cross-border family disputes, high net worth clients and domestic violence victims. Kit is empanelled as a mediator with the Malaysian International Mediation Centre and a registered collaborative practitioner. He has successfully mediated several family disputes throughout his practice after being accreditated as a mediator. He currently serves as a committee member of the Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee and Malaysia Bar Council’s Family Law Committee and Mediation Committee.
